It’s another of
those weekends, more frequent in summer, when we go separate ways. I’ll be with
some of our runners at the Coburg Half-Marathon on Sunday. Meanwhile, Rhonda
invites others to join her for a Saturday run at Dorris Ranch.
For Coburg, the
start/finish is at the city park near North Coburg Road. The starting horn
toots at 8:00. I included a course map with today’s email. Bring a drink for
delivery at about halfway, on the long straight stretch of Powerline Road.
Weather forecast: sunny with starting temperature in 50s, heading toward
afternoon high of 82.
For the Dorris
Ranch run, meet at the restroom parking lot (south end of Second Avenue in
Springfield) for 8:00 start. Distance on Middle Fork bike path is your choice.
Weather forecast is nearly identical to Sunday’s.
