July 30th Preview


Joe is away this weekend, but you can still go out to play on Sunday. There’s a planned gap in our training schedule, but here’s a possible bonus run for those who want to join it: 

Dorris Ranch (parking lot at restrooms) in Springfield at 7:30 a.m. If you’re training for Hood to Coast, Neal recommends an eight-mile run – which he’ll take. If your race is Florence or Oregon Women’s Half, I suggest going five or six miles. Our team training resumes next week at the latter distance. 

Course is out and back, following the paved Middle Fork Path. Eight-mile turnaround is at Clearwater Park.
