The
plan for team running in Eugene this weekend is simple to explain: there is
none. We take this Sunday off because so many of us will still be in
Newport or home recovering from Saturday's half or marathon.
Neal, Bill, Michele and Lydia are all running the half-marathon there. It will be Lydia's first run of this distance.
Russell will run the marathon. Nobuko will be there to support him at his first one since Newport 2016.
The marathon begins at 7:00. Start time for the half is
7:45. Weather looks coast-perfect for running: 50s and overcast in the
morning.
If anyone wants to put together a run in Eugene or Springfield this Sunday,
I'll help spread the word on distance, time and location. The Running Company
offers a run at nine o'clock that day.
