Summer/Fall Team Training


Our team training for the rest of 2018 starts on July 22nd, a week after the Coburg Half. As usual, we target specific half-marathons. There’s one this summer and another in the fall (with other local choices available in each round of training). Those are:

Summer: Florence Half on Saturday, September 22nd (with the option of extending to the Oregon Women’s Half, on October 7th).

Fall: EWEB Half on Sunday, November 18th (or the new Friendsgiving Half later that week, on November 24th, with extended training for the Holiday Half, on December 15th).

Some runners point toward other events during this time frame. I can help adjust your training distances for those but can’t promise full support every week.

The training fee for all these months is $100, or half as much for half this long. Ask me about credits you might have coming (for overpaying earlier this year) or our possible discounts.

July 22nd – 5 miles
July 29th – no team training; Joe is away

August 5th – 6 miles
August 12th – 7 miles
August 19th – 8 miles
August 26th – 9 miles

September 2nd – 10 miles
September 9th – 11 miles
September 16th – 6 miles
September 22nd – Florence Half-Marathon, on Saturday

(September 30th – 6 miles)
(October 7th – Oregon Women’s Half-Marathon)

FALL

September 23rd – 5 miles
September 30th – 6 miles

October 6th – 7 miles (on Saturday)
October 14th – 8 miles
October 21st – 9 miles
October 28th – 10 miles

November 4th – 11 miles
November 11th – 6 miles
November 18th – EWEB Half-Marathon

(November 24th – Friendsgiving Half-Marathon, on Saturday)
(November 25th – 5 & 10 miles)

(December 2nd – 11 miles)
(December 9th – 6 miles)
(December 15th – Holiday-Half-Marathon, on Saturday)

We’ll then take a training break. Team runs will resume the first Sunday in February 2019, again with winter/spring and summer/fall sessions. Our target races may change slightly next year.
