September 1st Results (11.2 miles)

The new month got off to a fast start for Carrie and Ben. Mother and son ran the Sunriver Half-Marathon, with the boy placing second in his age group.

Our runners scattered widely this holiday weekend – to the mountains and coast of Oregon, to California and to Idaho. We’ll meet again in our town next Sunday, to taper for the Cottage Grove Half, to collect remaining shirts and to pose for photos.

Thanks to Kelly for opening the store this morning, and for handing out team shirts that the Running Company supplied.
