September 8th Results (6.4 miles)


Race week started with a shorter run and photo-taking. It will end with another team photo and a longer distance at Cottage Grove this Saturday.

September 1st Results (11.2 miles)


The new month got off to a fast start for Carrie and Ben. Mother and son ran the Sunriver Half-Marathon, with the boy placing second in his age group.

Our runners scattered widely this holiday weekend – to the mountains and coast of Oregon, to California and to Idaho. We’ll meet again in our town next Sunday, to taper for the Cottage Grove Half, to collect remaining shirts and to pose for photos.

It’s a long look ahead, but it is also our biggest team race each year. 2020 date is set for the Eugene Marathon and Half – on Sunday, April 26th. Our training will start in midwinter, with a likely intermediate aim at the Florence Half in March.
